What Kind of Person, What Kind of Needs

I’m about to send a proposal to a couple of editors, asking them to publish the GOOD a.m. LORD! devotionals in book form. I have to tell them what type of audience would like to read that type of material. If you receive those devotionals, I need your help! Can you describe yourself for me? What is it about devotional studies that you enjoy? I'm not looking for flattery here. I’m truly looking for a description of the person who reads it and the needs it fulfills in your emotional and spiritual life. Would you pick up this type of devotional book at a bookstore? Why or why not? Do these devotionals really work best as e-devotionals rather than in a book? How would I need to change them to make them fit a book format?

Please leave your comments. I might even use your quote in the book proposal I present to the editor! Thanks in advance for your help.

In the busyness of life your words remind me to look with awe at the everyday happenings around me that God controls. Your sense of wonder and awe are very evident in your writings. This brings back an excitement to my soul that is easliy forgotten when focused on the cares of today and tomorrow. My perspective for the week is refocused on God's care and control of the details of my life. During the week, I often find myself pondering the insights and examples you have shared. Thank you.

I won 8 novels from Steeple Hills' Love Inspired Historical line! They're fabulous - or at least they look fabulous! Haven't read them yet, but I received them a few days ago. They're in my ever-growing TBR pile (ToBeRead)... can't wait!
